daisee chosen by ASIC to participate in their Voice Analytics and Voice to Text Trial, September 2019.
ASIC asked daisee to test whether voice analytics and voice-to-text could be applied to a dataset and actually replicate what ASIC staff members did when they manually reviewed those calls.
ASIC had been hoping to determine whether AI could “replicate what it took several ASIC staff many months to do”, according to Barbara Buettner, senior manager for insurers in ASIC’s financial services group. That is, could voice analytics (and voice-to-text) be used to recognise indicators of poor sales practice in life insurance calls? The answer, according to Buettner, is a “qualified yes”.
daisee chosen as one of the 2019 Top 50 Emerging Companies globally in the H2 Ventures and KPMG sixth annual ‘Fintech100’ report.
The Fintech100 is a collaborative effort between H2 Ventures and KPMG and analyses the fintech space globally. The Fintech100 comprises a ‘Top 50’ and an ‘Emerging 50’ and highlights those companies globally that are taking advantage of technology and driving disruption within the financial services industry.
daisee recognized as a leader in the InsurTech space, winning the 2019 InsurTech Startup of the Year Award at the 4th Annual Australian FinTech Awards.
The awards celebrate the achievements and successes of the people and businesses who are paving the future in financial services. The Judges chose daisee as an Insurance based FinTech start-up business that has disrupted the insurance/risk sector with its new and innovative voice analytics product lisa.
daisee won the 2019 Australian InsurTech Invitational, resulting in a fast-tracked partner collaboration with DXC and its customers.
From the 31 applications, the judging panel selected nine finalists, from which daisee was chosen as one of two winners that were selected based on two categories:
The Digital Insurance Ecosystem– a product or solution that can be integrated into DXC’s digital insurance platform
Enriching the Insurance Experience– a standalone solution to address insurance issues
daisee successful in being chosen as one of the few tech startups to participate in the ASEAN Tech Challenge Dec 2018.
This initiative, organised by the Australian Government, is a unique platform for Australian startups and scaleups to pitch solutions to prominent ASEAN and Australian based corporations and investors.

200+ applicants for the inaugural program in Australia, only 10 invited to London for a series of workshops and meetings with VCs and corporates.
Winner of the Westpac Innovation Challenge for 2018. Not only was daisee presented with the Outright Winner Award but also the People's Choice Award for 2018.
The Award was for a business that had created a technological solution that helps companies comply with regulatory obligations.
daisee won this award by presenting its voice analytics product lisa which uses natural language processing to improve call centre compliance, customer experience as well as other performance insights and recommendations.
